“No noise, straight away no noise. No exhaust emissions, straight away, so that’s carbon footprint ticked. It’s silent, lightweight, you don’t have to use heavy generators, lifting them around and bringing them out to site. Then you’ve got your fuel element, this (PowaHUB unit) doesn’t need any fuel, the generators need fuel, so you’re eliminating spills and the danger of what comes with having fuel inside your van. In terms of the potential of road traffic accidents, if you haven’t got fuel in your van you’re less likely to have major issues, much less danger than the potential of having fuel spills on the road. With the option of either a 230V or 110V portable power unit, it will revolutionise the operation. To have the van running is a no go in this day and age, with this available and the setup, you should have no reason to have the van running going forward. The power unit comes out of the unit very nicely, slides out well, and anywhere you want to go with it it’s fine, especially in comparison with moving the generator going forward, this is probably a quarter of the weight!”
